Do you Travel?
Yes! We love incorporating special locations and shooting in different areas, always. These pictures are for you, so why not make them about YOU. I travel 30 miles from Grundy Center, Iowa at no additional cost. Happy to provide a quote for something closer to you!
How long have you been doing this?
Stolzman Photography was established in Sept. 2008 and we have been busy ever since! I received my first camera at the age of 12, so I've grown to love photography ever since I was adolescent.
How many photos do we get?
Depending on which session you select will determine the amount of images included. Additional images can always be purchased if it exceeds the allotted amount.
How do we get our photos?
Once your previews have been edited, you will receive an email with a link to view your photos. From then you will be directed to select which images you would like included with your session package (depending on which package you select). Any additional images you would like to purchase will be invoiced for. After your images have been selected, within 48 hours of receiving, you will receive an additional email with your download link.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes, this is the longest part - the waiting. Over the years we have developed a specific editing style. We take pride in making these perfect for you.
Whats your turn around time?
Depending on the time of year, will determine our current turn around time. You will typically receive your edited images 3-5 weeks from your session date. Express editing is an optional add on if you wish to have your images edited within 3-5 business days.
How do we book you?
All booking is done through email. Let us know what type of session you would like and a preferred timeframe. We do recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, to ensure availability. Once a date has been agreed on, an invoice for your non-refundable deposit will be sent to your email and required to be paid within 24 hours. This non-refundable deposit will lock in your session date and time.
Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely! I secretly (but it's not much of secret) love helping to coordinate outfits, narrow down locations, etc. This part is all done through email or text, no need to come in for a special appointment to discuss this!
How far out do you book?
The sooner, the better! Our Stolzman Photography Facebook group has the most up to date info on availability and openings. Definitely don't delay - we recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially if you need a full session on a weekend (they book up the quickest)!
Where is your studio located?
Our studio is located at 609 G Avenue in Grundy Center. Right between The Funky Zebra and Tasty House.
Due to studio space, most families will be photographed outdoors to accommodate posing. We regularly photograph newborns and children in studio, but outside is always an option.
What should we wear?
Every session and season is different - we find it best to have a personal discussion about your family's style and requests. This conversation will take place approximately 1-2 weeks before your session.
